Attractions est une installation in situ dans la vitrine d’une agence de voyage. Des colliers de perles en plastique dessinent une carte évoquant le contour de l’île de Montréal. Sur cette géographie imaginaire sont indiquées des « attractions » fictives : Château de substitution atténuante, Jardin hypothétique, Citadelle des émotions confortables, Pavillon du caprice, Parc d’attractions céleste, Palais aux impressions de circonstance, Aire de sublimation, Monument de divertissement, Villa aux attraits enrichis, Place de la chaleur humaine, Tour de la libre compensation et Mont du vertige standardisé. Cette intervention a été réalisée dans le cadre de l'exposition Passe-Passe à la Maison de la culture Plateau-Mont-Royal (Montréal) où j'y présentais également la sculpture Carrousel (Alice's revolutions) -dernière image.

Attractions is a site-specific installation in a travel agency’s window. Necklaces of plastic pearls outline a map suggesting the contour of the island of Montreal. On this imaginary geography are indicated fictional “attractions”: the Castle of Attenuating Substitutions, the Hypothetical Garden, the Citadel of Comfortable Emotions, the Pavilion of Caprice, the Park of Celestial Attractions, the Palace of Circumstantial Impression, the Sublimation Zone, the Monument to Entertainments, the Villa of Enriched Appeal, the Plaza of Human Warmth, the Tower of Free Compensations and the Mount of Standardized Dizziness. This intervention was realized in the framework of the exhibition Passe-Passe at the Maison de la culture Plateau-Mont-Royal (Montreal) where I was also presenting the sculpture Carrousel (Alice's revolutions) -last frame.
